I am a veteran and multi-platform business journalist who specializes on reporting about the Southeast Asian region. I am primarily trained as a print reporter but I have since ventured to content creation - producing short reels, making social media posts and employing AI-assisted reporting -  as I adapt to a  fast-changing media landscape.

I produce in-depth reports about trade and macroeconomy, commodities markets and climate change and the intersection of politics, governance and economy. Despite being one of the fastest-growing regional economies, Southeast Asia is also one of the most under-reported regions so I'm happy to be a jill-of-all-trades.

I am a Filipina and a permanent resident of Hong Kong. I consider HKSAR as my second home, but I will always regard Manila (and the rest of Southeast Asia) as my first home while Aswan in Egypt is my spiritual birthplace.
